ITB contributes to industry innovation by providing a post-tensioning technology for reinforcing concrete. Before the concrete is poured, post-tensioning tendons are installed in the forms. The cables are tensioned and fastened to the concrete outside borders, once the concrete has been proven to have developed strength and before the service loads are applied.

The team provides shop drawings and stressing calculations, as well as safe installation procedures, supplies, and jack calibrations that are traceable to international standards.
