Glassforce Factory – Aba
The design and construction of the Glassforce Factory in Aba, Abia State was awarded to ITB in October 2001 and actual constructioncommenced on site in April, 2002 after the completion of the design and award of the construction phase.
The glass force project is sitting on over 20,000m² piece of land and the industrial building is housing a furnace and two production linedesigned to achieve an annual production capacity of 40,000 metric tons.
The main structure is in structural steel sections, covered with long span industrial aluminium roofing sheets.
The external walls and internalpartitions are in concrete block walls rendered and finished in industrial paints.
